Sheryl C. Sarokas, Owner, Lic. Ac., MAOM
Sheryl C. Sarokas is licensed as an Acupuncturist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. She completed a dual degree in Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese acupuncture, and the more gentle style of Japanese acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture.
Sheryl is dedicated to improving the quality of life by balancing the energy of the body, mind, and spirit. She believes that a well balanced body creates a pathway for health and well being. She commonly integrates both Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture as well as Chinese herbs in her treatment strategies.
Sheryl is a current member of the The Acupuncture Society of Massachusetts (ASOM), The American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM), and The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). She continues to expand her knowledge by focusing on advanced needling techniques and integrated treatment plans. Sheryl has also been a teaching assistant at the New England School of Acupuncture for several Japanese acupuncture classes. Currently, she is pursuing her certification in Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute.
